An investment adviser firm recommending or selecting an alternative investment must conduct more extensive due diligence than a traditional investment. This sample review form is merely a starting point for creating a review form. It is incumbent upon the investment adviser firm to identify all the issues/factors/criteria during the due diligence of an alternative investment. This sample form should not be considered a comprehensive listing of all the due diligence issues/factors/criteria when reviewing an alternative investment.
